Dallas Arboretum

Taylor’s parents visited us this weekend.  The weather was a little unbearable for them on Saturday (87 degrees is mid-summer to them) but cooled down on Sunday.  We decided to go to the Dallas Arboretum on Sunday morning when the weather was nice and the crowds were sparse due to Easter.  All of the flowers were either in bloom or had already bloomed and dwindled due to the warm weather.  It was a much different sight than when we came in December of 2010 with his parents for a holiday tea.

We now have a membership (since it wasn’t much more expensive than 4 tickets) and anyone who comes to visit can go with us for free!  We’re so high society now.  Now if only Taylor and I could get just one plant to survive in our apartment of no light.
